This semester I read a book Paris for one and other stories written by Jojo Moyes. She is well known for a bestseller called Me before You, which is a romance novel, whose film adaption has grossed over $200 million worldwide. After reading Me before You in Czech language I decided to read another author's books and I chose to read short stories book, because nowadays I don't have much time and the only place where I read is a tram.

I think it's important to put books into this portfolio, because reading is an amusing way to learn a language. On this task I practiced daily life communication, learned new vocabulary, especially fixed phrases and idioms. I had no big problem while reading, just couple of times I searched in Cambridge Dictionary the meaning of a new word.
